WCS Flash Mob
For Every Level Dancer
We're proud to announce our community wide West Coast Swing Flash Mob project! Choreography by Shane & Keri, Patrick & Lisa, Trevor & Chelsea, Terra, Aly & Kristin. We're hard at work recording the choreography breakdowns, which you will learn from the videos with a partner of your choice, then join us for the group practice: Saturday, May 5th, 12-2pm at Overstreet Dance Gallery. The Flash Mob will be at the Denver Center for Performing Arts on Thursday, May 17th, at 7:00pm sharp, followed by a Celebration Party at Overstreet Dance Gallery. Don't know what a flash mob is! How to get involved:
- Email us for the "Invitation" information.
- Find a partner or ask us to help you find one.
- Choose your level and learn the choreography from our youtube videos!
Flash Mob After Party
Thursday, May 17th, 8-11pm
Come celebrate our Flash Mob success! We'll have drinks, snacks and homemade Sangria, watch the video of our performance and have a great night dancing on our performance adrenaline! Party is normal cost of dance.

A successor to Lindy Hop, West Coast Swing is danced to modern, contemporary and blues music. Dance to the music you know and love! No partner necessary. Overstreet is located just south of Denver, in Littleton, CO. Two Lessons (Beg. and Int./Adv): 7PM
Social Dance: 8-11pm
Prices: $8 lesson + dance; $6 dance only; $5 students
May Dance Intensives
Dance intensives are structured as progressive lessons. We offer West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, Lindy Hop, Charleston, Salsa, and Blues. Our dance lessons are often focused on connection, musciality, social moves, and movement. Each class is 1 hour long. Dancers must sign up for whole intensive. One of the best musicians in Colorado and definitely a dancing favorite, Ronnie Shellist is bringing his sweet harmonica sounds to Overstreet. He's been inspiring the dancers at Mile High Blues for years, and you can catch him live on April 28th.
Whether you boogie with a Blues, West Coast or Lindy style, his Bluesin' tunes will put extra rhythm in your shake, extra fancy in your feet, and more tappin' in your toes.
